How do I use the free Multidata Website Malware Scanner?

One of the major problems with malware is its persistence. Multidata’s free Website Malware Scanner makes daily scans of all the sites within your hosting account. It uses a combination of commercial and in-house tools to provide reports detailing malicious content and its location within your site files.

To access the Malware Scanner:

1. Log into My Multidata
2. Navigate to Manage Hosting
3. Select Options > Manage on the relevant package
4. Select the Malware Scanner icon

The scanner will show you the results of the latest daily scan, including any files flagged as potentially malicious, along with their location, so you can investigate and remove them.
