How do I connect to my hosting via FTP?

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) allows you to transfer files to and from your hosting package. We recommend using a tool like FileZilla.

Steps to connect:

1. Log into MyMultidata and navigate to your hosting package
2. Unlock FTP – Select to unlock FTP either by time or by IP address from the package overview page
3. Open your FTP client (e.g. FileZilla)
4. Enter the following details:
   • Host: ftp.stackcp.com (or ftp.yourdomain.com once DNS is pointing to us)
   • Username: Your FTP username (found in the FTP Details section of your package)
   • Password: Your FTP password
   • Port: 21 (FTP) or 22 (SFTP)
5. Click Connect

Note: FTP uploads have a maximum size of 5GB. For larger files, use SFTP or SSH.
